While theme parks in Orlando are filled with so much to do with friends and family, there is so much to do in Orlando itself.

THINGS TO DO IN ORLANDO
Beyond the theme parks, there is so much to do in and around Orlando. While visiting Orlando with Visit Orlando. We took on the city in a matter of a week and we had a blast. Starting with Icon Park.
ICON Park is one of Orlando’s premier entertainment destinations. The perfect place to ride, dine, drink and explore. Located in the heart of Orlando’s International Drive, ICON Park offers more than 40 amazing restaurants, bars, shops, and can’t-miss attractions. All anchored by The Wheel, an observation wheel that stands 400 feet (40 stories) in the air.
While at ICON Park, we visited the SEA LIFE Aquarium. SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium offers a wave of underwater adventures with sea creatures from around the world. At ICON Park you can also visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the infamous Orlando StarFlyer, and more. You can enjoy free parking and park admission. Learn more at IconParkOrlando.com.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort
A little less than an hour outside of Orlando is LEGOLAND Florida. LEGOLAND is a mutli-day destination. There is an interactive theme park with over 50 rides, attractions, and shows all inspired by the LEGO characters. There is also LEGOLAND Water Park and the LEGOLAND Hotel.
At SeaWorld Orlando, you can get up close with animals, ride epic coasters and water slides, and more. There’s something for everyone including the new Sesame Street at SeaWorld. You and your family will be able to walk down Sesame Street, connecting to all of the fun, laughter, and learning of the world-famous street.

WHERE TO EAT
Whatever cuisine you might be interested in, you will certainly find it in Orlando. The best place to find an array of restaurants is on International Drive (Restaurant Row).

There are also great dining options in ICON Park.
GETTING AROUND ORLANDO
I highly recommend getting a rental car. While you can use a ride share service it is easy to find parking where ever you go. I used National Car Rental directly from the airport. I booked online and went straight to my car once I landed. It was an easy process.
