Miami is a city filled with warmth, sunshine, and vibrant culture year-round. Also known for its white sandy beaches, delicious food influenced by many cultures, luxury beachside hotels, and resorts, South Beach will make you feel like you have left the U.S.
One of the best things about Miami is that you can travel and enjoy yourself with any budget. There is so much to see and do for anyone. I spent a couple of days in South Beach and got to experience the delicious food, culture, and beaches. Needless to say, I’ve already planned a trip to return. Since I live in Atlanta, a flight to Miami is about 90 minutes, so a quick flight for the weekend isn’t a bad idea now and then. 😉

WHERE TO STAY
I would highly encourage you to stay at a beachside resort. Here’s the thing, when you stay at a resort along the beach, you gain access to the property’s private beaches which include beachside service where you can order food and drinks beachside. Many hotels will charge a resort fee but, trust me, it’s worth it.
- The Ritz Carlton, South Beach: Best overall on South Beach. I stayed here and loved it. It is a bit pricy but overall worth it. Plus, it’s family-friendly should you decide to travel to Miami with your family.

- Lowes Miami Beach Hotel
- SLS South Beach
