The Edwin Hotel is a Category 6 Marriott property and also a part of their Autograph Collection Hotels. Room rates average $300/night and will vary depending on the room that you select. This hotel has a handful of rooms with balconies and, although the pricing may be steep, it is well worth the rates.

The program is FREE and once you sign up you instantly unlock experiences to enjoy during your next Marriott stay.

LOCATION

The Edwin Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga. This waterfront property has easy access to the most popular attractions like the Tennessee Aquarium and the Bluff Art District.

CHECK-IN

Check-in at The Edwin Hotel is at 4 pm. Before check-in, I was able to chat with the front desk via the Marriott Mobile app and let them know my estimated arrival time. I arrived around noon and they were able to accommodate me with an early check-in however, I did have to wait 45 minutes. The ladies at the front desk offered to hold my luggage and gave me an amenity key to check the on-site amenities and familiarize myself with the property.

In less than 45 minutes, they called me and told me that my room is ready and that I was eligible for an upgrade to one of the four rooms with a balcony!

FOOD & BEVERAGE

For the length of my stay, I picked up an Iced Coffee at Provisions Coffee shop located inside of the Edwin. My son and I had brunch at Whitebird Restaurant, another restaurant located in the hotel that offers beautiful views of the historic Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge.

OVERALL IMPRESSION

Overall, I enjoyed staying at the Edwin Hotel in Chattanooga. Having a room with a balcony is worth it if you are staying longer than a night. The suites are spacious, the rooftop pool offers amazing views of the city and mountains, the food is great… what more could you ask for. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was amazing.

Planning a trip to Chattanooga? The Edwin Hotel should be a property that you consider during your stay.
