I don’t know who needs to hear this but throw away that St. Ives Apricot Scrub! Just like you, at some point in my early teenage years, I swore by this scrub but little did I know that I was doing more damage than good. You live and learn, right? As we get older, we start taking things more seriously than we use to, like skincare.
About a month ago I went to AYA Med Spa for a Diamond Glow facial and it was amazing. I met with skincare expert and esthetician Amanda who helped me create a skincare regimen using Revision Skincare. For reference, I have normal to combination skin.
What is Revision Skincare?
Revision Skincare is a medical-grade skincare line formulated to help you have youthful skin without jeopardizing your skin’s health.
Medical-Grade Skincare vs Normal (OTC) Skincare Products?
To simplify this, medical-grade skincare products have a higher concentration of active ingredients. Some brands, go as far as doing many intense clinical trials before their products are sold to consumers.

Cleanse
Brightening Face Wash •Thisparticular face wash is meant to exfoliate and cleanse your skin without stripping off the natural oils. It does a great job removing makeup as well.
Treat and Protect
Hydrating Serum • This serum contains two forms of Hyaluronic Acid and a blend of powerful natural fruit extracts, antioxidants, and a peptide leaving skin with a smooth, refreshed appearance. The ultra-light texture absorbs instantly without leaving the skin feeling greasy. I use one to two pumps of this serum in the morning and night. It is incredible how lightweight this serum.
C+ Correcting Complex 30% • I wear this during the day and I must say that this is a key product that helps brighten your skin. It supports the skin’s natural production of vitamins C and E while correcting existing damage and defending your skin for the future.
Multi-Protection Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 • One thing that I have learned as I started to invest more in my skin is to invest in a good sunscreen. You should be wearing sunscreen daily, I know, I am guilty of not doing so but I am getting better. This sunscreen is a daily oil-free age-defying moisturizer. It helps reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while providing broad-spectrum UVA and UVB SPF50 protection.

D·E·J Night Face Cream • When I first hear about Revision Skincare, this was the product that many raved about and now I understand why. This is an intensive nighttime moisturizer formulated to work while you sleep, with time-released 0.25% Retinol. A little bit of this face cream goes a long way. I swear by this stuff. I have noticed a significant difference when it comes to fine lines and my skin looks smoother than it did.
A skincare routine should be simple and not overwhelming. With Revision Skincare, I am able to use my Brightening Face Wash and Hydrating Serum in my morning and evening. Since I am not one to keep up with getting monthly facials, Revision Skincare is a great investment for me. If you want to try a mask, I would recommend the Revision Black Mask. When I had my Diamond Glow facial, my esthetician used the Black Mask and it helped purify and soothe my skin. Revision is the first medical-grade skincare that I have tried and I am pleased with how my skin feels and looks since using it.
Final Verdict
Recommend. Skincare is an investment and I know these products add up so, to start off with your medical-grade skincare routine, I would highly recommend the Brightening Face Wash, Multi-Protection Broad-Spectrum SPF 50, and D·E·J Night Face Cream.
