Let’s talk about affordable skincare products. A few years ago Good Molecules became a new brand on the skincare market. The idea behind their brand was to create simple products that work for an affordable price.
Fast forward to today, Good Molecules has made a name for themselves but many questions if their products actually work because of how inexpensive their skincare is. I’m here to break down the top products from Good Molecules
I have tested many different skincare products. From high-end to medical-grade to the least expensive skincare and I have been surprised with my findings while conducting reviews on these items.
Let’s start with their products. Good Molecules offers an array of products from cleansers, moisturizers, serums, and peels. Aside from Retin-A being a hot commodity in the skincare world, many will say that you need a Hyaluronic Acid Serum and a Niacinamide Serum. Luckily Good Molecules offers both of these serums for under $10 a bottle.
Hyaluronic Acid Serum
WHAT IS HYALURONIC ACID: Hyaluronic acid is a serum that helps produce moisture for the skin. It helps balance and helps protect your skin from getting dehydrated and maintain healthy skin.
DO I NEED IT? You want to keep your skin extra hydrated. To avoid dull-looking skin I’d highly recommend using hyaluronic acid.
HOW AND WHEN DO I USE THIS? Use this serum morning and night before applying your moisturizer. Allow the serum to fully absorb into your skin before applying more products.
For only $6 bucks – you can’t go wrong especially if this is you are just starting with serums. I was never the one to use serums until a few years ago and I can say that adding a hyaluronic acid serum to your skin care regimen is worth it.
Niacinamide Serum
This serum is another one that is worth its price. It’s only $6 bucks and the bottle is filled with everything that you need for a brighter and healthier complexion.
WHAT IS NIACINAMIDE? Formulated with vitamin b3, this vitamin-based serum will visibly brighten uneven skin tones and reduce the appearance of large pores.
HOW TO USE: Perfect for everyday use, this serum should be used morning and night before your moisturizers.
Moving on, let’s talk a little about toners. Toners are meant to help balance the pH level in your skin. It’s not worth skimping out on using a toner. Here’s why… after washing your skin, your skin gets stripped of oils that you actually need. That’s why a toner is somewhat vital in your skincare routine. I tested the Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner and it actually works. After four whole weeks of using this toner, I noticed that my skin visibly brighter. Is it the best? To be honest, no. I’ve tried better but for starters and the price point, it is worth trying.
Now to the good stuff… Saving the best for last I finally got my hands on the Silicone Free Priming Moisturizer and this is hands down my favorite product! I have a problem with my makeup sliding once it’s applied and this kept everything locked in where it needed to be.
This priming moisturizer is formulated with a naturally derived silicone alternative that is extremely light eight and works to condition, strengthen to product the skin all while creating a perfect canvas for makeup application. Right under $20, be sure to add this to your cart.
