A family vacation can be so much fun, especially if you choose the right hotel. At Marriott, they offer a variety of family-friendly hotels and resorts that can accommodate every member of your family’s needs.
So whether it’s a cozy room with all the amenities or a spacious suite with plenty of room to play and relax between adventures, there’s a Marriott hotel for everyone!
With Marriott’s acquisition of Starwood in 2016, the company currently operates over 1.3 million rooms worldwide. More than 7,000 hotels are housed under Marriott’s umbrella, from The Ritz-Carlton to the comparatively affordable Four Points by Sheraton. In addition, the company offers various cobranded credit cards, varying perks, and benefits.
If you are a frequent traveler, you are familiar with the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program. If you are not, I encourage you to sign up (it’s FREE with many perks + this is how you will get free stays!) Marriott Bonvoy points can be used for award stays across Marriott brands, such as Westin, St. Regis, and JW Marriott. As well as Marriott points, you can transfer them to several airline partners, such as American Airlines, Delta, and United.
To learn more about the Marriott Bonvoy program, head over to this post; otherwise, here’s our guide to some of the best family-friendly Marriott Hotels and Resorts around the U.S:
The Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes (Orlando, FL)
If you’re looking for a family-friendly resort in Orlando, Florida, look no further than The Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes. This hotel has everything your family needs: a kid’s club where kids can play games and make crafts; an on-site spa so mom can relax after a long day at the parks; and an expansive pool.
This is my go-to property in Orlando. You can read my full review of this property HERE.
JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes (Orlando, FL)
Located adjacent to the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes, The JW Marriott shares a few of the same amenities as the Ritz Carlton. In addition, this newly renovated property has an outdoor pool complex that includes a lazy river!
You can enjoy many dining options on-site, from elegant Italian at Primo to a farm-to-table menu at Whisper Creek Farm. I’ve also stayed at this property and have always been a fan, even before renovations.
The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne (Miami, FL)
You can enjoy an island escape at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, just minutes from Miami Beach and downtown. With redesigned ocean-view suites and residences, a renowned Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center, a Caribbean-inspired spa, and Lightkeepers Restaurant serving Florida-sourced seafood, the luxury hotel offer a unique way to experience the calm version of Miami life.
The Royal at Atlantis (Nassau, Bahamas)
The Royal at Atlantis is located on Paradise Island and has a water park, an outdoor lagoon pool, a lazy river, a wave pool, and slides for all ages. While the location is excellent for families that want to explore Nassau, it also has many activities on its property.
A trip to Atlantis Paradise Island will be a memorable experience for the whole family. Aside from a water park, spa, golf course, kids clubs, and more than 20 restaurants, Atlantis offers plenty of options for fun – so consider it when planning your next vacation.
San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino (San Juan, PR)
The Marriott San Juan Resort & Stellaris Casino is located in the heart of Condado, a family-friendly neighborhood in Puerto Rico’s Old San Juan.
This hotel is in Condado, an area famous for nightlife, shopping, and dining. The hotel is also located on Condado beach, one of San Juan’s most popular beaches.
